Update to reveal user error: DON’T TRY TO USE THE SAME DAY IT WAS DELIVEREDI realized that I hadn’t let the resin settle from the shipping movement. This resin has the low viscosity I’ve been looking for, a pleasant odor, gets virtually bubble free just warm the parts prior to mixing. It has a long work time and yes it does take at least the full 24 hours to cure, but that’s fine for me. Super glossy, too. Smooth as glass. Lesson learned: patience.Pay no attention to my prior review.I read through reviews and most looked amazing, and hey, the brand name says it all, right? WRONG!First batch I poured, 1:1, carefully measured was cloudy! Room temp is a constant 70°. Mixed slowly and had tons of bubbles which I never worry about since I have a vacuum pump. The instructions say to use a vacuum pump for bubbles…I set it in the vacuum pump and after 20 minutes the resin never got past the billions of microbubbles stage. There was about 1/8 inch of bubble free cloudy resin at the bottom of the cup. Mind you, this batch was 120ml. Not too much, not too little. Instructions say never more than 8 Oz, and vacuum pump says never less than 50ml.I set the cup in warm water and waited another 20 min. Only took about half the bubbles and still cloudy, but the brand says that it will “self defoam” so I decided to experiment and pour an ashtray instead of using it for the larger top coat of a custom order I had planned. No way was I going to risk a custom order!! It’s now more than 25 hours and the ashtray is bubble free, but still cloudy AND SOFT!!! I mean softer than a gummy bear. This stuff says I can demold in 8-10 hours. Not when it’s this soft an tacky!!I bought 4 gallons! Definitely returning the 2 unopened. Not sure what to do with the rest of the 2 that I opened and barely began using.
