1PC Crankcase Gasket and Oil Seal Combo Replacement for 697110 and 795387 Lawn Mower Part

I used this set to reseal the lower oil sump on my 2007 John Deere LA125 21HP single cylinder Intek oil sump that was leaking at the crank snout seat pretty bad. You’ll have to pull the engine from the frame, but once it’s off, the job is fairly simple.I pulled the oil sump and cleaned the gasket sealing surfaces, pulled the oil seal and reinstalled the sump with the new gasket. Then I used a little bit of Lucas Red and Tacky grease on the crank to help get the seal started, but I also used a tiny 90° pick to help guide the seal lip onto the greased crank. Once I had it sliding on smoothly, I used a piece of steel that I had laying around to tap the seal right into the oil sump. Note,I did not use the upper crank seal.It’s together and running with zero leakage, so for now I’m happy with the results of the job. [...]
