I have bought a few of these shades and they have been a life saving addition to my home. After searching extensively, for these big size (16x16x16) I found that these offered the best value and am very pleased with their quality. They provide excellent shade, especially on the front facade of my west-facing home, significantly cooling down the garden area west facing rooms and reducing the intensity of the late afternoon sun, a quick and affordable relief to the temperatures of this past record breaking summer!The quality of the material looks very sturdy. Seems durable and looks like it will hold up well over time. The stitches, hardware, and overall finish are all top-notch, giving the shade a premium feel. The installation process was easy too. You will need to study the desired location and figure out where they will be anchored and the lengths of wire or cable you will need to stretch them nice and taught It helps to find a way to “pre hang” these to figure out install. I hung mine using simple galvanized steel wire, and it certainly helped to have another person assist me during installation, although I’ve also installed them by myself with a bit more trouble, yet successfully.To choose a size I recommend you to Order them a bit smaller than the intended space, to give room to stretch them hung on wires or cables, for a clean free-floating look. I bought the 16 feet model and it was big enough to cover a good swath of my front ha garden. You will need extra hardware, and possibly a drill forInstallation, depending on the location.These shades aren’t just functional—they also add a stylish touch to my home’s exterior.
